Children Treated:
- The children's ages are birth through 14 years.
- Many are pre-schoolers (18 months - 5 years)
- We serve the neediest families in our community.
- Many do not have dental insurance or other means to pay for treatment.
- Many have severe dental disease, pain and fear.

Most Severe Needs |
- Young Children with immediate needs.
- General health, normal development, ability to learn all at risk due to oral disease.
- Severe dental decay, abscesses, swelling, fever and pain.
- Care in our dental clinic cannot meet their needs.

Hospital Care can:
- Allow all treatment at one time.
- Allows optimal quality care.
- Is less anxiety provoking, emotionally scarring than multiple, long, clinic visits.
But, is expensive:
- Hospital fees = $15-20,000 per case
- Dental fees = $2-3,000 per case
- Anesthesia fees = $300-400 per hour
- Public insurance covers less than 1/4 of fees.
